MESSAGE FROM OUR YEAR 6 TEACHERS
Dear Parents,
Year 6:
Well, what very different & challenging times we are in!! Year 6 students have not only accepted the challenge of learning whilst in social isolation, they are successfully adapting as changes demand.
Parents, in our recent Parent-Student-Teacher interviews, were made aware of Year 6's use of Google Classroom across some subjects. Of course, usage has been extended as education evolves through the pandemic. Parents have since commented on just how fortunate it is that Year 6 students were already so proficient in using Google Classroom. Mr Wilson, in true collegiate spirit, has been dedicatedly mentoring Ms McIver on the I.T. aspects, for which she is eternally grateful!
Year 6 are engaging collaboratively in Zoom meetings, having open discussions of problems they're experiencing & working with their classmates & teachers to solve them. We even had a 'Meet My Pet' Zoom meeting! Students have been emailing appropriately with individual queries.
Thank you to all the Year 6 students who are striving to do the best they can-that is all anyone can ask. Thank you also to all the Parents and Grandparents for your support.
To all, God bless, have a safe, happy & holy Easter & remember, together we WILL get through this!
Annette McIver & Mark Wilson
